- Eccentric artist Damien Hirst - famous for his pickled sharks and diamond-encrusted skull - has painted an image of late singer George Michael. The 51-year-old artist's kaleidoscopic painting of the late Wham! star will go under the hammer to help raise cash for HIV and Aids prevention and awareness. The work on canvas, entitled Beautiful Beautiful George Michael Love Painting, will be auctioned at an event which will also pay tribute to the singer for his philanthropic contributions.
